What is the HRSA综合护理津贴计划?

The HRSA综合护理津贴计划 is a federally funded workforce development program available to concentration year and/or final year Social Work graduate students who are interested in committing to strengthening the workforce in Colorado by focusing on integrated behavioral health care. To that end the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded $1.9 million (over 4 years) to 密歇根州立大学丹佛 MSW program to fund $10,000 scholarships for 29 concentration year clinical social work students who plan to work with children, 青年, transition-age 青年 and their families in vulnerable, 农村, 或者医疗服务不足的地区.
The program’s goals are to diversify the behavioral health care workforce in Colorado while improving health equity by building, strengthening and innovating our integrative care services.
HRSA invests in the workforce by providing stipend funding and supplementary training to MSW student scholars who are passionate about health equity, whose career interests (field placement and employment) align with the goals of the HRSA Program.

If selected to participate in the program, students will:
- Work with your field team so they can advise you on appropriate placements;
- Engage in a HRSA designated field placement;
- Sign up for the designated HRSA field seminar course;
- Participate in specialized trainings one time per month;
- Receive 10 payments of $1,000 over the course of the academic year;

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- Current MSW Program student (including incoming Advanced Standing students);
- Entering their Concentration Field Placement in their Concentration/Final year of the MSW Program in the 2024-2025 academic year;
- In good academic standing; AND
- Willing to complete a field placement in a HRSA eligible agency.

The 2024-25 stipend application will open on 星期五，2024年1月12日.
Successful applicants will complete the application package and engage in an interview with the HRSA faculty. 申请截止日期 Friday, 3月15日, 2024 at 5:00 PM (Mountain Time) and candidates will be interviewed later in late March or early April (exact dates to be determined).
